Found this site with cute little phrases 3minutes Japanese for Survival! Very simple but if you are just starting out to learn Japanese it might be useful for you.

This is a blog I set up just after we moved from Osaka to Tokyo. I only wrote a couple of entries here and have since set up another couple of blogs.

My main blog is at www.blizzardboy.net. It is called Psymeg: Life in Japan and covers pretty much what the name says it does!

I also have a blog at www.oursilkroad.com. We lived in Korla, which is a city in the westernmost province of China - the Uighur Semi-Autonomous Region of Xinjiang. From there we travelled to Kyrgyzstan - and the blog on www.oursilkroad.com covers events in Xinjiang and the wider Central Asia region. You can read the blog here.
